The Pottery vase/cup is wheel thrown and textured with a floral motif, specifically California Poppies. On the side of the piece is a small sculpted pocket which holds a Citrine crystal point. At the front of this piece is a small bird bead hand made of clay also. The California Poppies are hand painted and sealed; this piece should be hand washed only due to the decoration.
The clay used is a mid fire stoneware that is glazed turquoise blue inside.
This hand made vessel can be used as a decoration, or as a functional piece, such as, a flower vase, a utensil holder, a bathroom piece for makeup brushes, or anything else you can think of. It will make a sweet gift.

I was sooo looking forward to receiving this item. The photo illustrated a lovely cup/vase in a creamy white, turquoise and red toned poppies. Well, this is not what came in the mail. The color is more dark tan/ brown, the inside is turquoise which does not flow with the brown tone of the outside, the red toned poppies are very smudged out and orange, you can barely tell there’s actually flowers painted on this item. I’m so disappointed. I cannot understand why a seller portrays an item on their site, yet sends you something sooooo very different. I really wish ETSY would do something about this, because it happens all too often. I really think a seller should have pride in what they are selling and be honest in what they actually send you. If this was me, I’d be ashamed…
